Discover the power of the Cured-In-Place Pipe system
Metro-Flow Plumbing is a trained expert on pipe lining materials, methods, and techniques to ensure a successful, permanent solution. This method is called “Cured-In-Place-Pipe”. A cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) is a trenchless rehabilitation method used to repair existing pipelines. It is a jointless, seamless pipe lining within an existing pipe. CIPP has applications in sewer, water, gas, and chemical pipelines ranging in diameter from 0.1 to 2.8 meters (2–110 inches). The process of CIPP involves inserting and running a felt lining into a preexisting pipe that is the subject of repair. Resin within the liner is then exposed to a curing element to make it attach to the inner walls of the pipe. Once fully cured, the lining now acts as a new pipeline.
This process allows Metro-Flow Plumbing to eliminate the need to excavate and replace the old sewer line as was traditionally the case. Instead, the old pipe is lined, creating a brand new pipe within the old one – without affecting your home’s landscaping, driveway, etc. When pipes fail they can leave entire buildings and sanitary sewer services without water for days. Before trenchless lining technology, these repairs would require expensive excavation and serious structural and infrastructure repairs that could last months. The Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) system is the solution to failing pipelines without expensive excavation.
Why do you want the Cured In Place Pipe System vs. regular excavation?
- The EPA estimates 80% of these drain lines are failing and need repair.
- The infiltration from drain lines account for 75% of the infiltration of groundwater.
- The lining fully adheres to the host pipe and can negotiate multiple bends without joints and seams.
- Continuing maintenance on keeping pipelines operating.
- Failing service laterals due to cracked, broken, offset joints, and pipe erosion.
- Existing pipes made of clay, orangeburg, asbestos, wood, cast iron, and other materials are past life expectancy.
- Replacing piping requires extensive excavations. The Cured In Place Pipe system needs only one access point.
- A 3 to 4 man crew is needed and your installations can be completed in one day.
- The Cured In Place Pipe System takes hours versus days to be completed.

PERMA-Liner™ PIVOTING INVERTER
Allows the installer unlimited angles for optimal inversion head placement.
PERMA-Liner™ PATENTED CAMERA INSPECTION PORT
Allows a lateral push camera to be inserted inside the clear calibration tube, providing a visual certification of the liner placement prior to curing.
PERMA-LINER™ PATENTED DIRECTIONAL SHOES
Allows the installer to direct the liner and calibration tube upstream or downstream, while lining through a clean out.
PERMA-LINER™ PATENTED SCRIM REINFORCED INVERSION LINER
The Perma-Liner™ Scrim reinforcement eliminates stretch in the liner while inverting. There is no chance for the liner stretching and protruding past the termination point. This stretch-resistant lining material is for use with the #1 selling small diameter pipe lining system.
